Our Story
Cixuse started in 2018 when three Toronto food enthusiasts noticed a gap in the corporate dining landscape. Sarah Chen, Marcus Williams, and Elena Rodriguez met while working in the Financial District and shared a common frustration: finding nutritious, satisfying lunches during busy workdays was nearly impossible.
What began as a small operation serving five companies in downtown Toronto has grown into a trusted partner for over 200 businesses across the Greater Toronto Area. We started with a single kitchen on Laing Street and a team of four people who believed that office workers deserved better than reheated meals or expensive takeout.
Our first clients were tech startups in Liberty Village who appreciated fresh ingredients and flexible menu options. Word spread quickly through professional networks, and within six months, we expanded to serve law firms, creative agencies, and healthcare facilities throughout the city.
How We Work
Every morning at 6 AM, our kitchen team begins preparing meals using ingredients sourced from Ontario farms and trusted suppliers. We work with 15 local vendors who share our commitment to quality and sustainability.
Our menu changes weekly, designed by nutritionists who understand the demands of modern work life. Each dish contains balanced portions of protein, vegetables, and whole grains. We accommodate dietary restrictions including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and halal options without requiring separate orders.
Delivery routes are planned to ensure meals arrive between 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM, maintaining optimal temperature and freshness. Our drivers know Toronto streets intimately, from King West to North York, ensuring reliable service regardless of traffic conditions.
